Founded by Reba Shapiro, MS, HHC, For Tomorrow Wellness is rooted in a holistic approach to well-being, addressing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and environment. With a focus on fostering resilience and sustainable health, For Tomorrow Wellness provides personalized support tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Through one-on-one coaching or community workshops, it creates a supportive environment for growth and transformation.

Hi and welcome! I’m Reba Shapiro, a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach inspired by my journey with chronic illness. I help individuals and families, including those with conditions like fibromyalgia and autoimmunity, navigate the demands of life, and build sustainable habits to achieve their health and wellness goals. Outside of work, I love photography, hiking, the beach, and spending time with loved ones. I’m a lifelong learner, often surrounded by non-fiction books, and I split my time between the New Jersey coast and Maine. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported and inspired to embrace the beauty of life, even during its challenges. Stick around for what’s to come!

Over the years, I discovered mindfulness as the most transformative practice in my journey toward healing, peace, and self-awareness. It has improved my well-being, focus, and relationships by helping me stay present and connected with myself and others. Mindfulness allows me interpret the messages my body communicates to me and to understand my thoughts and feelings, helping me make intentional choices and realign with my goals. It’s also helped me approach life with curiosity instead of judgment and be more aware of how daily habits affect me. This practice has changed my life by helping me accept myself and live with purpose, and I believe it can do the same for anyone.

  • 1. What is holistic health and wellness?

    • Holistic health and wellness is an approach to wellbeing that takes the whole person and the various part of life and wellness into consideration. It looks at the total system instead of individual parts in isolation. Often, health and wellness is impacted by more than one area of life. Holistic health and wellness considers the ways in which one system or area influences others. The foundation of health and wellness is often described to include interconnected areas such as food, sleep, stress, movement, support and more. Physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual elements are also examined in holistic health and wellness coaching as they are relevant to the client’s goals. The knowledge obtained by examining health and wellness through this holistic lens can help to create transformation that is widespread and reinforced naturally by other areas.

    2. What do health coaches do?

    • Health and wellness coaches facilitate behavior change to help clients achieve self-directed goals aligned with their personal vision for health and wellbeing. Coaches may offer evidence-based resources or information from nationally recognized authorities to empower clients to make informed decisions. Under the supervision of licensed medical or allied health professionals (e.g., physicians, psychologists, physical therapists), they may assist in implementing prescribed treatment plans. However, health coaches do not independently diagnose, interpret medical data, prescribe or deprescribe, recommend supplements, create meal or exercise plans, or provide psychological therapy, therapeutic interventions, or medical treatment. Their role centers on supporting lifestyle and habit modifications that align with the client’s goals and healthcare recommendations.

    3. What is the client’s role?

    • The client is at the heart of the coaching relationship. It is the client who determines the goals they desire to reach and it is the client who puts in the work in their daily life in order to reach their goals. The client brings a solution-oriented mindset to session and is curious about the interconnectedness of holistic health and wellness. Clients bring their successes and struggles to session with their coach so that they can collaboratively amend the process to better fit the client’s lifestyle, needs and desires.

    4. How does the Balance Wellness and For Tomorrow Wellness connection work?

    • In an exciting venture, Balance Wellness Center and For Tomorrow Wellness have teamed up to bring holistic health and wellness coaching to the local community. Together, they offer wellness talks and meditation sessions. Services such as chiropractic care, acupuncture, red light therapy, massage and others are through Balance Wellness. Coaching services are through For Tomorrow Wellness. This means that coaching program selection and customization, coaching agreements and payment for services will be made directly with For Tomorrow Wellness.
